A conversation about the emergence of innovations, the special role of artists and creatives for the city and the particular strength of Munich's cultural and tech scene.
The creative minds of a society and the innovations they generate are decisive for the economic growth of regions. Innovations such as co-working, co-creation and interim use have emerged in the creative scene and now shape our work and our cities as a matter of course. The process behind artistic-creative work is also quite comparable to the development and emergence of innovations. Munich uniquely combines cultural and artistic diversity and at the same time is a leading tech and innovation location. Is this one of Munich's special strengths? How can the synergies between business, science and culture be promoted even more strongly and what role do new technologies play in art? We talk about this with the artist Tamiko Thiel, the Director of the Haus der Kunst, Dr. Andrea Lissoni and the Head of the Kultur- und Kompetenzteam of the City of Munich, Dr. Olaf Kranz. Moderation: Sabine Hansky, Director Program, Munich Urban Colab and Professor Alexander Gutzmer, Author and architecture publicist.
