Design intertwines with politics – Redesigning a fateful affair

With the draft of a "Design Policy", Germany joins the worldwide movement to bring politics and design into conversation and to jointly formulate goals which ensure that change can finally succeed.

After an introduction to the topic by the President of the Deutscher Designtag, Boris Kochan, the CEO of Good Design Australia, Brandon Gien, will give a vivid account of how well this has already been achieved in his country. The key points of the proposal for a "Design Policy for Germany" will be presented by the Managing Director of bayern design, Nadine Vicentini - which will then be discussed first on the panel and then with the audience.
