How do we want to live with other creatures in the city? Let's explore this question together. Everyone is invited to contribute their ideas to a Neuperlach for Animals.
The Future Forum offers the possibility to engage with the insights and experiences generated during the UnDesignUnit participatory species walk in Neuperlach and develop new perspectives on the city as a shared living space for humans and animals.
The point of departure is the participatory species walk through Neuperlach conceived by UnDesignUnit, (for registration please see separate event). During the joint walk, we use playfully staged applications of design research methods to question our existing perception of the city and expand it to include the perspective of non-human city inhabitants. Central to this is the consideration of how we can design the habitat 'city' to create a livable environment and urban community for human and non-human species.
The subsequent Future Forum takes this question to all interested participants and invites everyone to develop a range of visions for the future.
The event is a cooperation between UnDesignUnit, BeeTree Monitor, Studio Animal-Aided Design and the lighthouse project "Creating NEBourhoods Together" in München-Neuperlach for the New European Bauhaus (NEB) of the European Commission.
