Open House

Take a close look at Europe's largest publicly accessible high-tech prototype workshop! MakerSpace is a 2,700 sqm prototype workshop open to the public.

We are the place in Munich for people to realize ideas in the form of prototypes. Memberships give you access to machines, tools and software as well as a creative community.
We have prepared an exciting program for all of Munich's citizens, from schoolchildren to pensioners, starting at 10:00 hrs.
Participation is free, but we ask you to enroll via Eventbrite.

Program
Courses:
Registration on site on a first come, first served basis.
Introduction to 3D printing, laser cutter, electronics workshop and textile workshop.
Successful completion of the course leads to machine authorization - then just get your membership and YOU too are part of the MakerSpace community!

Guided tours of the MakerSpace in German and English.

Rube Goldberg workshop (chain reaction workshop) - registration on site. First come, first served.

Start-up pitches: Meet founders who develop innovative products in the MakerSpace.

MakerMarket:
There will be various craft stations, such as: printing bags with the transfer press (best to bring your own jute bag), room decoration from the laser cutter, creating greeting cards with plotted designs, personalising bookmarks in the Mr. Beam laser cutter and soap workshop.

Children's program:
On the premises of our partner, HABA Digitalwerkstatt München, children can drive through a maze with a MBot or create their own stop motion film (age: 6-12 years).
