Reiner Thalacker

Reiner gathered the majority of his experience during his 27 years of work for the roller bearing manufacturer SCHAEFFLER AG, which owns the brands INA, FAG, and LUK. In 1985, he started as a technologist and quickly moved up to leadership positions as plant manager, managing director, and business unit leader (Vice President), reporting directly to the central board, both domestically and internationally. He also led several special projects in corporate design and optimization.

As Vice President (4,500 employees and €1.6 billion in revenue), he left SCHAEFFLER AG in May 2012 to become CEO of WINTERSTEIGER AG. Since October 2016, he has been working independently in the field of business consulting, with a focus on corporate development and acquisition.
