DESIGNBUS - RAYS OF LIGHT

The LED revolutionized the design of light. What is the next step? What are the technological possibilities in production processes - and what are the artistic aspects?

The DESIGNBUS has been bringing design to life in numerous live talks since 2015. Previous participants include top designers, entrepreneurs and experts such as Prof. Tulga Beyerle and Stefan Diez, Prof. Dr. Angelika Nollert and Mirko Borsche, Ana Relvāo and Gerhardt Kellermann, Aylin Langreuter and Christophe de la Fontainte.

The tour leads through Munich, to the favorite places of each of the two exciting interviewees: to the Viktualienmarkt, to the Wies'n or from the Olympic Center via Stachus to Nymphenburg Palace. A trip to Munich's hot spots, to places where things are happening.

DESIGNERS: LIVE
It's about personal stories, turning points and the question of what actually makes good design. What drives them? What connects them? And why do they burn for design? The DESIGNBUS will be a journey through the minds of the speakers.

PUBLICLY FUNDED
The DESIGNBUS is designed as a public event with up to 50 participants. It mediates between industry, design, science and the public. Since 2015, it has been sponsored by the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs.
