Oliver Herwig

Design expert Dr. Oliver Herwig lives in Munich. He used to be a science editor in Tübingen. Today he teaches design theory at the University of Art in Linz, writes for major daily newspapers and magazines, designs conferences and moderates panel discussions.

He is author of numerous books, for example on Las Vegas ("Architecture and Entertainment"), on the elements "air" and "water", and on design legend Michele De Lucchi. His latest book, "Home Smart Home," shows how our living spaces are changing.

He has received numerous awards for his work, including the "Karl-Theodor-Vogel-Preis für herausragende Technik-Publizistik" (Karl Theodor Vogel Prize for Outstanding Technical Journalism) and the COR Prize "Wohnen und Design" (Living and Design).
