RESOURCE-EFFICIENT TECHNOLOGY DOES NOT GO FAR ENOUGH.

Can UX change our behavior and ensure more sustainability? We look at science and examine which UX methods can help.

As a megatrend of the coming decades, sustainability is penetrating more and more economic sectors. Sustainable product development is increasingly becoming a critical quality criterion for companies. In addition, it is necessary to influence users to rethink in order to accomplish climate targets. The main goal is to achieve a positive change in behavior towards sustainability.

The MOVEN research group is concerned with how technology must be designed to motivate people to behave ecologically in everyday life. Together with Ergosign as a transfer partner, they investigate how such changes in user behavior can be acknowledged and considered as early as the product design process.
In our design talk, we present the results of previous research and explain which UX methods help anchor sustainability more firmly in product and service development.
In an interactive part, we devote ourselves live on site in groups to the question of how sustainable product development and behavioral changes can be methodically implemented using a concrete example. Finally, we discuss the results.

Join us in actively shaping our future.
