UX design in the circular economy

For the circular economy to be a success, the supporting role of customers must be taken into account. With Circular Experience Design, their new tasks are more fun and less hassle.

The talk will present a sprint methodology for developing services for the circular economy and introduce the Circular Experience Library with freely available UX design patterns for the circular economy.

The Circular Experience Library provides designers and companies with free UX components that improve the customer experience in the circular economy. This is because consumers face new challenges beyond consumption - from repairing to refurbishing to reselling their products. With Circular Experience Design, these tasks are more fun and less hassle.

The library consists of 72 free UX design patterns. Each pattern is based on a circular economy use case such as Refuse, Extended Use, Maintain, Re-Pair, Re-Use, Refurbish, Resell, and Recycle. Each pattern consists of wireframes, a clickable prototype, an explainer video, a pattern description, and digital downloads.
