Andreas Enslin studied industrial design in Munich and founded a design office while still a student. Here he created technically sophisticated products for companies such as Merck, Siemens and Ytong.
As head of design at the faucet manufacturer GROHE, he played a key role in shaping the brand and design until 2004.
Enslin has headed the Miele Design Center since 2005. He anchored design in the innovation and product development process and founded the "Universal Home" innovation network. He was vice president of VDID e.V. from 2009 to 2021.
With the project "Networked Cooking Table", the integration of cognitive computing into the cooking process and
the conception of the "Invisible Kitchen," Enslin aroused international interest.
