Ed Ravensbergen

Ed Ravensbergen is a multifaceted professional in the field of architecture, urbanism, research, teaching and social entrepreneurship. He honed his skills working with prominent Dutch firms, designing and leading projects in architecture, urban design, and regional planning. He joined international teams on projects in France, the United Kingdom, Spain, Slovakia, and Poland. In 2010, he co-founded Nieuwbruut with Marc Holvoet after winning competitions such as Europan and Eo Wijers. The firm's work evolved from urban planning and design to research that explores the social, economic, and civic aspects of cities and their suburbs. Alongside his professional work, Ravensbergen is a researcher/teacher at Breda University of Applied Sciences (Academy of Built Environment & Logistics).
