Co-Creation for sustainable & circular city development ... Possible?

Our cities are changing fast - or is it us? How can we enable cross-cultural local networks to flourish, which tools can accelerate the shaping of their own neighborhoods future and resilience?

Sustainable and circular development (process, budget) is a challenge, mostly because companies and governments are not ready for this type of development.
• Who is in charge in which part of the cooperation process?
• How could needs of local networks be the start for urban developments?
• How to ensure that to realize a project within the budget?
• Can we imagine models of creating and describing values, broader than conventional purely financial ones?

University of applied sciences in Breda main research question is connected to the Urban Living Lab platform: urban development projects happen in co-creation (local government, university, commercial, inhabitants) starting with a dialogue about wishes of local networks, supporting their self-reliance.
BLOC believes in co-creation, works with architects, builders, developers, local stakeholders, and the city. (Cultural Centre Berlijnplein Utrecht, and Dutch Mountains Eindhoven, large hybrid wooden building). Focus on circular and energy neutral.
